I've always been driven by purpose and a commitment to help build a better world. I trained as a solicitor, seeing the law as a vehicle for social change and justice. After a spell of criminal and asylum work, I immersed myself in public law - in particular education, health, mental health and social care. Read more
I left my legal career behind out of a desire to:
-
work with people - to help them identify what really matters to them and find more sustainable and person-centred solutions to the problems they face;
-
facilitate better conversations, connection and collaboration - as a key to improving wellbeing, preventing crisis and resolving conflict
-
actively seek out, test and develop new ways of living, working, leading, collaborating and governing - to help good things happen and bring about social change.
I am currently working towards Level 5 qualification in Clean coaching and mentoring with the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) and ORSC certificated in the Fundamentals of Organisational Relationship Systems Coaching. I am Working Out Loud and part of the first, international WOL Certification Programme.
